hey guys,
I finally managed to buy a decent webcam to motivate myself for the REC program. Now I encouter some small problems.
that is some piece of advice from somebody regarding the mixing of the audio and video (sorry, cant give you his name as I closed the TAB)
1. Open the programs (quickcam, pod farm, reaper etc.).
2. Load your POD Farm settings.
3. Start recording the video with your webcam software.
4. Start recording the audio with Reaper.
5. Play your track.
6. Stop recording with Reaper.
7. Stop recording with your webcam software.
8. Save and edit everything.
9. Mix video and audio together (for example with Windows Movie Maker).
10. Upload on YouTube.
11. Post on the GMC forum
Well thing is, I got a Podx3 and a webcam but no DAW such as Reaper or Cubase. So at this point I dont care if I have to spend some dollars on a good DAW ~bout 100 $ limit~, I just need something really easy, intuitive to use. Thing is, I recorded my guitar via RiffWorks, but I dont know if it is possible to also include a backing track and if riffworks is really the best choice for doing so. How do you even include the GMC backing into your recording? So in the end you somehow mix your guitar with the backing and synchronize this audio whatever format file (mp3?) with the video line (for example windows movie maker?)?
appreciate any advice
