More Haunting Sound!

Yeah.. I recently joined a band.. We're called Embryo but that's not so important.
The point is! We're writing some songs right now and they wanted me to create some "Haunting" licks
The problem isn't that I can't create them, but I want some more interesting licks.
Like a arpeggio of three or four notes..

So.. Any idea how I can do that? Some magic theory trick like Dimished 7 and all that stuff I can use? (I almost don't know any theory at all, But I'm trying to learn some : D) or any guitarist I might want to listen to?

I hope some of you know anything : D

Scratch Sound!

I have this problem when I play and trying to change chords on the same strings this ugly "Scratch" sound comes and ruin my day. Especially when I play on acoustic, You don't hear that noise when I'm charging my Guitar at max volume on my 150H Marshall AVT, Well Maybe a bit
I guess some of you have had the same problem with the "Skvitch!" sound!

Soooo.. My question is: How do I not make that sound?
Like.. What should I do? How to move my fingers?

Finger Cut Off!

Hi!

I just heard that my friend got his finger cut off, and he is at the hospital now and he is problably going to be okey,
But is he ever going to be able to play guitar/Drums again, I ask since that's what he love to do and because we where trying to start a Band together, And he wouldn't be able to that with a disfuctional finger, would he?

I hope for his best and actually I should be on the hospital right now to check on him. But, I can't :S

I Just Want To Say Hallo =)

Hi!
My name is Even Tekrø and wanted to say hallo to everybody =)
I recently bought membership to this site (Which is awesome by the way)
for a obvious reason: to get better on the guitar!
As I feel I need more knowledge on techniques, Theroy and stuff like that because I feel like a total newbie compared to my father! (Which is Ronni Le Tekrø by the way, I guess some of you have heard of him)
I have only played guitar for a year and a half, but My dad say I'm better than he was after that time and tell everybody he knows that I got Talent! Yeah me!

Well.. This site seems promising and I love the lessons!
