ahahahahaha This reminded me of a guy I know, that was once driving drunk as a cork and got stopped by the cops, and after asking him a couple of questions he said: 'damnit man, just let me go home, can't you see how drunk I am...' |

hahaha amazing!! once i saw the piezo pickups guy using a stone with a neck and strings, or it was concrete Thanks Adrian! Amazing craftmanship and very cool idea for a youtube video - you rock Alek! PS Did I mention great shredding as well? Thank you Kris I appreciate it Love it man! Shows that you don't need to invest in equipment, its all in the fingers and who plays the instrument And off course an irradiated plank |

Wow.. simply awesome!!! Did I just waste so much money on gears ? oops.... gives me a really really bad feeling now. creepy! Thanks man! Don't worry, I also spent a lot of cash for equipment, before realizing that if you don't have the tone in your fingers, no Gibson, ESP, Fender or such guitar can fix that... I mean just look at EVH |

Haha very cool Thanks Oh, I missed it was You!!! Lookin' forward to the clean demo! Maybe we can arrange a joint burnin' here, where we all burn our guitar bodies at the same time, in favour to build some like Yours ???? //Staffay Haha! Well, in theory there is a strong possibility that your guitars would get much better tone, 'cause dry wood is always better but, off course for the price of your guitar looking like a fossil |

Oh my, now how I will ever be able to justify spending to much cash on gear? Ultra cool video Aleksander:) Hehe! Same here Thank you! Well, it just states what I always considered be true - the tone is not in the gear, its in the fingers.... great player! If it sounds just as good with a clean tone - then I would not just be impressed, then I would be amazed! In fact this doesn't surprise me so much, a friend of mine that have been built numerous guitars states that the best wood he ever built from was an old kitchen table. //Staffay Yeah, I forgot about clean tone... Well, the problem is that the pickup is too damn loud, so I get clipping, and there isn't and option to lower it down, so it wouldn't be so close to the strings. But, I should try to do something anyway to compensate that minor flaw, and record a clean demo And, off course put new strings on it... these are rotten Anyway, I appreciate the feedback |

Music will always be an endless travel, I think we all agree I personally don't like much of today's commercial music - in the style of Lady Gaga. Mainstream doesn't have to be that bad, if you understand the same under mainstream as me (James Morrison for example). Radio hits often have the same structure nowadays, but if the music is played with heart and the lyrics mean something, I like it. And I personally like the involvement of Internet in the music. I like a lot of these Indie-Rock Groups, and it gives me the opportunity to listen to great, handmade music! Let's remember that bands like Arctic Monkeys became popular through Myspace! Internet will add new possibilities to music, we can't imagine at this point. Who would have dreamt in 2000 of this Web 2.0? What will be in ten years? I don't know. There will always be good and bad music - there are much more people now who are able to publice their music, so there will be more crap, but I think there will always be very good music. And for me, classical composers like Bach and Beethoven will always stay genius and will always be an imagination for modern music. Only to compare, if Beethoven really gets loud with chords, it has, in a way, the same purpose as if a metalman uses his power chords (yeah, it is not a fair comparison, but the musical idea is the same). Very nice thread, Bogdan! Well said |

Strength in your hands will come as you practice. All you need to do is to try to relax your hands as much as you can Btw, do you suppose you have more strength in your hands than this little girl?? |
