Hi Gabriel,
first of all, thank you for your excellent lessons!
My question is about right hand picking in the certain type of licks. These licks are very common in blues - they are played on several strings (one note per string) with bending, examples are part 6 in your "Blues licks" lesson and the part 7 of the "Rocker Riff 2" lesson.
I always had troubles with such kind of licks using alternate picking, until I noticed in the video that you use down-down-up strokes to play the lick from "Blues Licks".
However, in the Rocker Riff 2 lesson lick, I cannot see in the video how do you pick - it's not very clean. Do you use alternate picking or another strategy? Is there a common rule for such kind of licks (probably a stupid question
) ?
Thanks!
Philip
