  • Practicing to me is all about having fun while maximising progress pace. I am constantly looking for new ways to live by this philosophy.

    In my quest to boost my alternate picking skills - I came cross this exercise which seemed to have it all: Three note per string picking, string crossing in several directions & melodic movement.

    In a relatively short amount of time I noticed the exercise had a big impact on my playing. And not only that - these patterns sound so cool I ended up using them in my lead playing as well.
