Sinisa,
I really enjoy this lesson. I am wondering how you play so cleanly. Do you mute with your hands or do you have some other type of muting device on the neck? I am having difficulty playing this correctly. Much harder than it looks.
thanks!

Hi GMC!
Wellcome to my lesson - How to tell a story through instrumental music ?
First and basic rule is, as well as in any good story - introduction, elaboration, culmination and the end of..
If you have a good melody line in the head - it's a great start, this will give you a basis for how everything will sound underneath it. After you have the melody, you can build the chords.
According to how you are inspired select the rhythm and bass line. Using the lowest sounding instrument for this will provide a strong basis and will create a better sound.:)
In this case and otherwise, I use the drums, bass and "carpet" synth.
I like the motto -less is more !
Now, if you have found all the actors - Story can start :)
This ballad is the just a example of how to begin, develop and end a story that has a sense, and without any unnecessary *heavy gymnastics*.. :))
Chord progression:
Am,Dm,G,C,F,B,Em.. try the key of C major and its relative minor or Aeolian scale Am.
Tempo 60bpm, 4/4 ts.
Enjoy it !
