Cool backing and very useful lesson Bogdan !
Thanks guys!!!
@David:
This was going directly from recording output of my bass amp to Toneport (there is no modeling done on toneport just caputerd the dry tone)...Heheheh regarding drums now when I think about it they remind a little the Billy Jean groove
Very nice exercise Bogdan!
I love your tone, very rich, are you using a Pod?
The backing is cool, it strangely reminds me of some of Michael Jackon's tracks. :-)
Great exercises Bogdan
Good job Bogdan, such exercises are pretty important!
Hello GMC !
-In today's lesson we are going to learn a new set of exercises that will develop your technique!
-Playing exercises featured in this lesson will help you develop : left hand fingering, dexterity and control, right hand alternating picking and efficient thumb positioning technique, right hand passive muting.
-Exercises you are going to learn are for all levels of playing, from beginner to advanced. They will help you get down the right and left hand technique fast and enable you to play music you want effectively and effortless. These exercises should be practiced daily with a metronome, it's a most focused and efficient way to develop your technique!
Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and bass on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson feedback and in my instructor board at forum.
Enjoy and I hope you'll have a lot of fun exercising through this one!
