  • Carlos Santana is one of today's most influential guitar players. His unique style blending rock and latin music has inspired countless players. Today we will take a look at his style and learn how to improvise like he does.

Santana uses mostly the Dorian mode blended with the minor pentatonic scale. We'll work in the key of D. Make sure that everything you play is very clean as it is an important aspect of Carlos' playing.

Practice slowly and watch your bends. Have fun!
