  • Hi GMC'ers! In this lesson we will work on your hard rock soloing techniques.

In this lesson we are using some veru useful blues/rock licks that you can use in many situations. We also use some cool effect techniques: pinched harmonics, bends, vibratos, palm muting, and array of useful legato and AP picking licks.

For this particular lesson I used drop D tuning for rhythm guitars, and standard E tuning for solo guitar. Only solo guitar is being covered in the lesson, so standard E tuning is in focus. We will use D pentatonic and D blues scale, with touch of D dorian too.
