  • Hi all :) For this lesson I've used parts of one of my songs called "A Simple Rhyme".

The lesson itself is fairly straight-forward and doesn't include many difficult techniques, but hopefully it will give some good practice on the most fundamental and basic techniques like downstrokes, alternate picking, palm-muting and maybe even some timing-practice.

But.. enough talking, let's get to it! :)

    ____________________________________________________________
    BPM: 128
    TimeSig: 4/4
    Key: E Aeolian

What I used to make this lesson:
    Software:
    Cubase SX 3.0 (Daw)
    Toontrack Superior (Drums)
    Trilogy (Bass)
    Waves SSL (Compressor)

    Hardware: Guitar: Jackson SLSMG
Amp: Marshall JMP-1 (OD 2 channel with gain on 90%, bass and treble on high and mid
almost on zero). The amp is connected straight into my soundcard with no additional processing.

As usual I've included a GuitarPro file, and a few backingtracks. Hope you like it! And don't hesitate to send me a message if there's anything your curious about :)
