Cm Fingerpicking
Hello GMC crowd and welcome to my Cm Finger-Picking Lesson!
This one will improve your ability to combine ascending and descending finger-picking patters PLUS it contains very nice left hand grips/chords.
This lesson is not too hard but it's not too easy either, lets say it's on Intermediate level.
As the title says, it's in key of Cm, the tempo is 65bpm, it might seem too slow but we're playing 16th notes all the time, so it's compensated nicely.
I used electric guitar for it but I suggest you to try it on acoustic as well.
Have fun and ask if you need anything!

E||---------3---3------------3---------|----------------------------------------|
B||-------4-------3--------3-----6-----|---------6----4---------------1---0-----|
G||-----0-----------0----0---------5---|-------5--------5-----------2-------0---|
D||----------------------------------3-|-----3------------5-------1-----------0-|
A||--3--------2-------1----------------|----------------------------------------|
E||----------------------------5-------|--4--------3--------2-----------3-------| | The lesson starts with a descending bass line
while shifting through several different chords.
Basicly we have 2 fingering patterns here,
each starts with the thumb but the rest of it is a little bit different:
-the first one is thumb,index,middle and then ring finger
-the second one starts with thumb as well
but the rest of is opposite to the first one,
it's thumb,ring,middle and then index finger.
Then we just alternate,pattern 1,
pattern 2,pattern 1 etc.
Watch out for the open G string here,
it has a lower resistance than the fretted notes
and if you play it too hard
it might sound louder than the other strings,so be careful. |

--3--------2-------1----------------|----------------------------------------|
----------------------------5-------|--4--------3--------2-----------3-------| | Here we have exactly the same chords as in the first section.
We just start with the 2nd fingering pattern
and the we play the 1st pattern - reversing the sequence,
Pattern 2,pattern 1,pattern 2 etc. |
Cm Bb Eb Fm Bdim Cm Ab G

is the same as in first section,
patter 1,pattern 2 etc. |

-----------------------------3--------|-----------6----5------------6---5-----|
--3--------5--------6-----------------|--5----------3-------------------------|
--------------------------------------|----------------------4--------3-------| | Again, the same chords as in the previous section,
we just start with the 2nd fingering pattern,
as we did in section No. 2.
Pattern 2,pattern 1,you know the rest. ;) |

--10-------10---------9-------9---------|--8--------8---------7-------7-------|
----------------------------------------|-------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|-------------------------------------| | Now we have something new.
Once again it's a kind of descending bass line
but with new fingering patterns,
2 of them to be precise.
1st pattern: thumb,middle,index and middle finger again.
2nd pattern: thumb,ring,middle and ring finger again. |

------------------------------------|--------------------------------------|
Cm
-----------3-------------||
---------4---------------||
-------5-----------------||
-----5-------------------||
--3----------------------||
-------------------------||
| We continue with the same patterns as in the previous section,
following the descending bass line,
and the Lesson ends with a Cm chord.
we are using our right hand pinky
for the last note,which is on the high E string. |

Amazing Muris,
At 00:34 and onwards it reminded me of Opeth's clean album Damnation, which is a good thing btw

Sorry about the last entry. Muris, you're amazing always with a great sense of music. This sequence of chord are beautifaul. The first part remember the great music of Dire Straits (Private Investigation). It's always a great and amazing challenge to learn your lessons.
