Danilo Capezzuto13th August 2008Great great etude mate!
fkalich13th August 2008You have a great musical style. Also, it is really nice the way you construct your lessons, even showing fingerings, being consistent and true to your tab, being careful about mistakes (all which confuse a person and make lessons more difficult to follow). Nobody surpasses you in the care you show in these regards. Also you rock.
fkalich13th August 2008edit: I meant to say "(all in which failure to do so will confuse a person and make lessons more difficult to follow)". I expect my meaning was clear anyway, but I am just making sure of that.
Jenkinson14th August 2008That was killer, I like it as much as Pavel's Sweeping and AP lesson. Nice Job!
Sergio Dorado14th August 2008Absolute brilliant. I remember Jason Becker technique
fkalich14th August 2008Just when I was being nice for a change...on the section where you hurt your pinkie, it appears to me that we have errors on one shape, shown below and in the tab. I believe the 16 should be an 18, and the two 18's should be 20's.

B|-----------*18-------|
G|--------19-----------|
D|-----18--------------|

Ian Bushell15th August 2008Hay Fkalich,
You are totally correct! Sorry did the tabs at one in the morning but no excuses:)
At band practice at the moment!! Will fix it when i'm home later today. Thanks for pointing it out!
Kristofer Dahl15th August 2008Ian - let me know when you have had a chance to fix the tab in lesson maker - and I will republish! ![]()
Ian Bushell17th August 2008@fkalich, Tab has been fixed:)
fkalich17th August 2008Thanks. This is a great lesson, the fingerings required on such a lesson as this, develop dexterity that helps one in others ways beyond just sweeping. I don't feel any sweeping lesson on GMC surpasses this one in usefulness.
Sami17th August 2008Whoa this is beautiful, sounds very jason becker-ish! nice!!
Ian Bushell18th August 2008Thanks alot:)!!
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the lesson.
Oxac19th August 2008brings my mind to Jason Becker. That's a huge compliment.
Ian Bushell21st August 2008Thanks Oxac, that's very kind of you:)
Jason Becker is an awesome player i hope to be as good as him one day;)
Noangels23rd August 2008Realy smooth playing, with rock solid timing
Jeff080324th August 2008This ones tough, Im stuck somewhere in between 75 and 90 bpm. I can play it at 90 but the sweeps that have the string skips arnt ringing through like they should. Ill keep working on it!
Ian Bushell24th August 2008
Kuba Szafran28th August 2008Damn, now I regret having only 21 frets in my guitar

Niko Fran30th September 2008I really love the sound of this lesson, but it's way, way above my skill elvel at the moment... This lesson mught be one of the greatest sweeps I've heard!
Ian Bushell19th October 2008Thanks:)
@ Niko. The Etude sounds cool slowed down as well.
You can also break this up into pieces to practice seperate sweep licks. Start slow and the speed will come:)

Gabriel Leopardi13th June 2012
