Heya. I've just changed strings on my Squier Strat with fixed bridge and my bridge is floating like I were using a tremolo arm but I ain't! I tried tightening/loosening all the screws but nothing holds the damn bridge in place. And yes, I DID change string gauge. Is this truss rod? Thanks in advance. The springs in the back perhaps? Add a couple if you have any spares. -------------------- My bands homepage

You havent tuned the strings too high? That could be it too, one octave to high or something... You said you tried all the screws. Did you actually add a couple of springs? (back of the guitar, open the hatchet) -------------------- My bands homepage

try to tighten the screws that hodl the metal plate in the back. If you don't manage, go to guitar shop and buy some springs. This will work.
You need to do a proper setup afterwards. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
