While I was on my Power Metal days for a couple of weeks, I came forth upon a very unknown band called Pyramaze. One thing that stood out the most from them is Mathew Barlow on vokillz. Now mind to everyone that although Iced Earth is just "Ok" to me, this side project still plugged an interest in me since Barlow is a hell of a vocalist. So let me tell you something about my experience with the songs on myspace... IT WAS MINDBLOWING. This band is just pure shock and awe of Power and Metal driven music. I love this! I can't wait for Immortal to be released! I think, I like Barlow better on Pyramaze than Iced Earth. You guys really have to hear this band if you like Power Metal with actual balls and power!

I think Math Barlow really shined in this album. And the band was perfect articulation for his vocal. Everything was just right there. This is power metal with POWER.

I shall now follow Barlow till the end of time. Thank you Pyramaze.

Yeah Pyramaze is awesome, Although I much prefer him in Iced Earth.

But yea, I hope you continues his work with both bands. If the new Iced Earth is somewhat like this, then maybe I would give Iced Earth a shot again.

Well the only thing they have in common is Barlow, Music is pretty different, but both bands are phenomenal in there own way, I just prefer IE (Although I must admit, When it comes to IE, Im very biased )

Yeah maybe, But the only band I like more than IE is Maiden.

Anyway, its not actually out yet, (Soon though), But you can hear it on there myspace, The Clouding in particular sounds AMAZING!

Cool, I shall wait for its release then. We might have it in the studio though, I'll check this wednesday
