Drop C is pretty cool, you can do some real heavy stuff, and also some fairly high pitch stuff too.

I love drop C i use it all the time (well i use a whole step down (DGCFAd) too). It's really dark and heavy

Well as far as arpegios, patterns, chords, etc. goes, it doesn't change at all from drop D tunning only a lower sound
