I always lose them. So I decided to start buying white picks, so I can find them wherever they are. But I still lose them and I can't still find them, so, It's the same. Hahah

Good try though biggrin.gif But I have a feeling that flashing or gloving in dark picks wouldn't be easier to find somethings just are how they are blink.gif

I swallowed a pick once...

-EDIT- Funny story actually. I came up with this ridicolous song on the piano, so on band practise I put my guitar aside, the pick in my mouth, played this ridicolous tune, started laughing, inhaled very intesively... stomach ache for half of an hour, lying on the couch unable to play.

Ok, look for the pick at the end of this video. biggrin.gif

I used to lose my picks everywhere until I decided to put them all in one spot. Right on my amp.

I dunno if someone has said, but V-picks are the worst for this, being transparent makes them impossible to see if you drop them or forget where you've put them.

Indeed.. A few months ago, I lost my V-pick screamer.. I looked everywhere for it, and could not find it no matter where I looked. A few weeks later I bought a new mousepad. When I moved the old one, I found out it had been right there on the top corner all the time!

I need one of Muris' glowing and flashing picks laugh.gif

Oh, and today I discovered a pick where I guess every last one of us has found one, at some point or another: In a pair of pants I haven't worn in a while tongue.gif

I can lose a pick that I was just using 5 minutes ago, when I haven't moved from my chair in 20 minutes. I'm worse if I have a bunch of picks...I lose them at exactly the multiple of how many available. 2 picks are gone twice as fast, and so on. I think my son steals them. He must be making a mosaic.

haha... most of the usual pick loosing stuff seems to happen to everyone... smile.gif

But the story with the pick in the mouth and then searching for it got weird for me when i then (with the pick in mouth) took the next one, started to play, put it in my lef hand, then forgot it, took a new one into the right hand and ended up very confused with a pick in each hand and one in my mouth. I think my cat distracting me was involved.

Another word on picks: i dont even know which brand or strength i have, i always order "a hand full of green crocodiles" at my local guitar store smile.gif (My picks are green and have a crocodile on it smile.gif )

Because i lost picks every minute, too, i decided to buy enough of them so that there are always some laying on my amp. This results in picks EVERYWHERE in my apartment but not on my amp. When i need one, i only find the totaly used ones that lay around on the floor, but the new ones keep crawling around. One day i found two of them inside of my pc.

Sounds like they may be Dunlop Gator 1.5mm picks Twist.

Most of mine go to my daughter - she loses hers and then helps herself to mine knowing that sooner or later I'll pay for more rolleyes.gif .

Yeah sounds like my picks smile.gif They are quite heavy...

Just thought of my first steps with guitars, i always lost my picks inside of my acoustic guitar. So whenever i needed one i just had to turn it over and shake a bit smile.gif
