Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.
I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:
* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!
* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.
* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.
* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.
* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.
* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?
* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hey there everyone!
I thought we could give this one a go We shall use the backing track from my lesson called 'Common Notes' and we'll use the same principle as stated in there -> using common notes belonging to the scales which can be played over the chords making up the progression so that the improvisation stays fluid and interesting! Chord progression: Bm and Gm Scales: B Blues and B Dorian G Blues and G Dorian Common notes: D, E, F, A Tip: when a chord is about to change stay on one of the notes above, as they will sound good over the following chord as well. Play around with different combinations of notes, use m7 arpeggios, m7add9 arpeggios, chromatic runs and everything which can be done by combining the blues and Dorian modes. The deadline is January 10th 2012 As usual, all materials should be delivered through rapidshare or another transfer service: - audio without backing (.wav) - audio with backing (.wav) - video (.mp4, .avi) Let's JAM bros!! Cosmin

Here it is mate. It's exam week for me so that's why I'm late with this. I zipped everything into one file.
http://www.4shared.com/rar/GXhDSgDB/Common_Notes_Collab.html I know I'm not really funky but this was the best I could do at the moment. I don't know what to think about the tone, if needed I can also send you the clean version without any effects. I just didn't want to go distortion-crazy with this one, so this is the closest tone I could achieve Here's the preview version on YouTube: |

I had to meddle a bit with the sound of my take, so here's the version with a little more reverb, and it sounds fuller now. You decide which one to use. I like this tone better than the previous one.
