Sorry I didn't specify that! The pentatonic blues scale in E works best (otherwise you should play in e-minor)

ok welp .. after going thru several variations........the simple one seemed to work best and as they say simple sells well for the most part lol ........The idea is to put this riff in about 1:38 pretty much how it sounds minus the crowd cheer lol .......... sorry but i couldnt help myself lol..... just guitar with out anything behind it.......then to the bridge idea.......and you will see how it threads in quite nice to the lynch mob feeling solo ..... I mean it could probly use a little tweek here and the but other wise it seems pretty seemless................. well give it a listen.......and see what you think........I am off to bed the sun is starting to come up...........lol

That's very nice! smile.gif I think it will fit perfectly as a bridge, maybe some lead guitar over it though would also sound good.

Sounds really good ballistic! I've been pretty busy lately and my toneport doesn't come for another 2 weeks roughly yet, so I think I might step out of this one instead of holding you back smile.gif

Thank you both for the compliment .....i tried to get all fancy and well the more i did....the more it just was not going to fit........my girlfriend was like you know I dont know anything about music except for one thing ........the simple one kept me interested.....when you got all fancy my brain was like turn it off...not that it sounds like crap but ... it just made me want to skip that part and get on to something else.......so I just went with the simple one and it works alot better.....with more flow......

JVM do you have anyway of recording.......cause you dont realy need a tone port.................just record something and im sure between marcus or I or someone else we could just process it........with out to much trouble at all...I
dont think you are holding anyone back....... lets give it a shot lets see what we can do..........where there is a will there is a way

Great work boys, can't wait to hear the finished song. Lavendell, what kind of EQ/effect are you using on the guitar in the intro? Also, love the guitar sound, never got my podxt to sound that good. I'm going to grab that sound in case I ever get it back again.

Sounds great Ballistic! And I really like the crowd! hehe... so I put it in the song as well smile.gif I can take it out if you want though.

Here's the updated song: Attached File  collab_v9.mp3 ( 3.79MB ) Number of downloads: 273

I only put in the first part, because the whole bridge is pretty long. (the song is already over 4 minutes) Maybe you can come up with a shorter one? smile.gif I added another chorus after the solo, which means the key goes back to D again. I'm not sure that sound right, so let me know what you think! smile.gif

that bridge worked PERFECT, wow this gives a fresh sound to the solo, I really love it!

The change to the chorus is a bit odd, but it would sound awesome if the solo ends on the right notes, which in my opinion are some bends, im talking the bends at the end of Lavendell's solo, I think they will make a great bridge back to the chorus, so whoever gets to do the closing solo try putting those bends in the end!

It's sounding good but just a couple of things, i like the idea before the solos kick in but i don't think the crowd sounds right, maybe something else i dunno. Also some of the switches in solos don't sound quite right but apart from that it's awesome and i like the idea of the chorus after the solos

Great idea, Iluha! smile.gif

Speaking of that... We still need 4 people to play the solo in E (starting at 03:01). Who's up for it? smile.gif

What if the singer just sceams "SOLOOOO"? biggrin.gif

I don't think there's much I can do about that, other than rearrange them. Could you be a bit more specific about what you think sounds wrong?
