However, in the project we are looking at Caucasian people in particular. In places like USA and Australia, Caucasian people were the initial 'settlers', and thus we are looking at whether the chance of them receiving racism, or the likelihood of them being racist, is higher or lower than a non-Caucasian person. However I can't see slavery as racism, just abusive, psychological terrorism. Racism may have been the reason they made up to support their actions, but they don't bare the same kind of implications that the subtle sociological segregatory actions that form my current perception of what racism is.
