Hey people. This is a really busy period of my life and I'm feeling tense. I'm a 24yo from India shifting to Dallas in august, for grad studies at UTD. Thought I'd reach out to any guitarists on this forum who live in texas - what's the music scene over there like? What are some upcoming bands / cheap and popular places to check out guitarists/singers? What are some must-go music fests to listen to the best guitarists? I love going to live shows and checking out bands, I'm already psyched I'll be living in the same city as Eric Johnson and Andy Timmons, but I don't know anyone there, hoping to get a feel of the Texas scene!
