Which tunings do you prefer and for what style?

The only one I have really used is dropped D which Marcus Lavendell introduced me to.

Had I been more insightful when starting out on the guitar I might have never used standard tuning though - as its logic can be questioned.

Aside from the standard, I use the altered form of drop A (just like in the lesson) and also drop C for some other songs.
I love downtuning like nothing else biggrin.gif

What do you guys find useful at these tunings?

i found more comfortable playing in drop C than in E standard
