Hi MonkeyDAthos! This is your thread for the Gab's Army!
Could you please tell me a bit about you, your musical tastes, influences, strengths and weaknesses? I would need some videos of you playing rhythm and solo guitar, so please post your best material here. If you have some music or ideas of your own, also post them here. Also let me know how you think that I can help you and what are your expectations for our job. You can check the other Army's thread to discover the different modalities of this project. The principles of our Army are: + Improve your technique + Make music and solos + Have fun + Destroy the enemy (hahaha not really just kidding...) -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate! Great stuff!
I can hear that you are not comfortable with the legato lesson yet. It definitely needs more practice and I think that some more legato lessons will be a good idea in the future. Even being a fan of AP, I think that legato can expand your guitar sound a lot so I would put some attention on it. The other lesson (little finger one) sounds very good. I just hear some little issues in the last section and that will disappear with some more days of practice. About the theory, I've done a quick check and everything seems to be right, however I'll get deeper later with my guitar to see if you are missing anything. Regarding your vibrato question, I think that it's something very personal so there is not an approach for it, there are lots, one for each person. The best is to trust in our ear and heart when practising it, and off course play along with some of your favorite players to get ideas on how to use it over songs and backing tracks. The double sop bend should be done as you've said, the the vibrato as a normal vibrato, up and down around the pitch played. Does it make sense? -------------------- My lessons
