Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Gert!

Another great take from you! Your left hand position started to look very nice. I like the fact that you minimized the movements and you fixed the pinky finger position. They weren't easy tasks but you succeeded in managing them. I'm very proud of you! smile.gif
Also, the slides sound very good.

0:08; 0:18; 0:28 - In these spots you have some timing issues.

Be careful at your left hand, because you have moments when you press too hard on the strings and it sounds out of tune. I noticed that it happens mostly when you try to vibrate the notes. We will fix this in a separate lesson where you will learn the vibrato.
Unfortunately, this issue will affect your grade a little.

Also, you need to make your playing sound smoother. The problem comes because of the fact that your left hand is not stretched enough. As an example, when you play from the 3th fret to the 5th fret, you release the pressure of the index finger too early and the note stops sounding. That's why it remains in sound, a space between the notes.
So, don't release the strings early because the sound will die.

Anyway, don't worry, we will fix all these issues soon.

Now is the time to recommend you a new lesson. Because you have already made huge steps, I think you are now ready to learn the alternate picking technique. Hope you will like this lesson:

Keep up your great work! You get a 7 from me.
