I've just started praciting 5 string sweeping stuff from Pavel's lessons, and its going alright so far. What I'm wondering about is how to make your own sweeping stuff? For instance if you want to have some sweeping in a solo for your band or whatever. Do you just pick any random notes that sound good or do you stay inside a scale?
