I wasn't aware of this until today, but I found out that MOTU has a line of 3 video interface models, and the cheapest one is just under the 500$, which is low enough to enter consumer market.
It's MOTU HD Express:  Great unit at a great price! Let's you connect all the video sources that you have, choose the video source in MOTU software and stream that source into your video host application.
