So here is my recent recording for Ivan's great collaboration. No questions about what people think. I'm just interested in having a few questions answered that I have. Ivan said I need to work on the sound a bit better as the recording is lacking some dynamics and is buzzing a bit.

Firstly, Why do the pick sounds come through a lot in one place but not through most the rest of the song?

Secondly, what would you do to the sound? Drop off the gain a bit or what?

Any other comments on improving my recording?

To record I used Caparison TAT2 straight into Toneport UX2 and then I used Gearbox with a Randy Rhodes preset although I took a bit of drive off this as I felt it was too much. I then recorded using Cakewalk Sonar Producer (5 or 6) Can't remember which sad.gif

Any help would be awesome smile.gif Also say if you want how I can improve playing as I want to reach the top biggrin.gif
