I've decided to branch out on my music in the new year and get an electro-acoustic guitar.

Just love the sound and the different style from metal is a nice change (although i'll keep melting faces with my high voltage rock)

Check it out, i think it's lovely for a starter acoustic :

TAKAMINE G SERIES NEX - EG220C

Let me know your thoughts.

Looks nice and it's a Takamine smile.gif I've liked just about every Takamine I"ve ever played. I also own an electric accoustic and an electric classical (nylon string). The accoustic is an off brand and the classical is a Yamaha. Both have the handy on board pre amp and 3 band EQ. I've really enjoyed having these and I think you will dig having another option in addition to electric for writing and recording. Here's a pic with both of mine and some of my others. The accoustic is on top left and classical is bottom right.

Great guitar mate, congratulations! Takamine guitars were almost always very nice when I tried them in stores, and I tried lots of them.
