It's a great example of how the guitar is acting in real, band situation Comparing to original lesson we need higher vibrato rate - You're seems too sound slightly too soft, not dense enough to deliver specific bluesy feel Around 0:20 - thic lick needs some work with precision. Don't forget about dynamics that Javeir brings in this one - picking strength is getting stronger with each note and then it releases the tension (last 2 notes very subtle) I think You could get even more pick attack on those strongest picking moments (accents, crescendo finish etc). I would widen overall range of dynamics in this take. As opposite You sense of how the soft notes should be played is very good. I do not notice any huge mistakes here. Don't be shy of picking harder, especially when you have a run like 0:20.. the notes are getting lost so try to increase the velocity so they're more even. Your vibrato is already good but it wouldn't harm you to have some wider vibrato sometimes, just to add variety. You're a very relaxed player but sometimes the music calls for intensity, especially the blues which is all about emotion. Great work, keep it up! I like to see the different approach that you give to my song. I agree with Ben, Darius and Gabriel about the things that can make it sound even more expressive. You play very softly, you need picking from soft to harder and then will increase your dynamics. Also I miss a little more groove, the notes you play are as important as those that do not play, silence and death notes are essential in the groove, work it!
