79.years,when I was 15, I first listened to the domestic pop rock music. How the time passed my taste and the type of music has changed. I heard for the group the Sex Pistols, and so moves my love for punk music. Of course did not stay a long !!!!! Next phases were Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin,Iron Maiden,Van Halen! Then Fusion music..( Al Di Meola,John McLaughlin).. But I did not stop there! I discover World music and instrumental guitar music, and continued to enjoy playing and listening to ..
Of course, it would be interesting to hear how you changed your musical interests..

I'd like to hear smile.gif

when i was on the 5grade until 7 Grade - i didn't knew anything bout music, i use to hear those pop rock song that would passed on a radio, and pretty much stick with that, few artists i remember listening that time were, 3 doors down and robbie williams.
~
then i go a album, American Idiot by Green Day, and i started to like, really enjoying, "the American punk", also start to thinking on getting a guitar, but my parent's didn't want to.

and then, around 8/9Grade, i had a classmate, that passed the whole math class, listening to Iron Maiden...and i start to listen to bands such as Maiden, Guns'and'Roses, Metallica, later i went a little heavier and start to listening to bands like Trivium and stuff.

that was the year..that i decided, that i wanted to be a guitar player, so to prove my parents that my will was strong, i grabbed my Spanish Acoustic Guitar, and tried to learned The God Father Theme, but well they stil didn't buy it sad.gif.

then like on the middle of nine grade, i founded Nirvana tongue.gif, and go completely addicted.

then, i decided to get a job on holidays and finally i got my FIRST guitar ;D a Epiphone SG and a MicroCube amp(Roland)

First day - Learned how to play sweet child of mine intro
Second day - I broke, a string :X, i was so ashamed, that didn't even had courage to tell my dad ahah.
´

After that, i got into 80 Metal World. for quite a time. i was completely amazed with bands such as Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister, Ozzy, Metallica, Quiet Riot, Dio and stuff.

The time passed, and i started to take guitar lessons.

And find alot more bands and genres (arch enemy, mastodon, streetlight manifisto, mr'big, faith no more, ~MR.Bungle etcetc) . and i came across to, the most two import bands, that really help me,...how do i explain this : /.."finding my musical interests, let's say this"... Megadeth and Dream Theater.

With Megadeth and Dream Theater, i found Marty Friedman, and Petrucci, and then it was like a web i found Buckethead, Guthrie Govan, Bumblefoot, Richie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert and alot of crazy dudes and to more.

Right now, i don't listen to much metal, like i use, but i cant pass a day without giving a listening to Megadeth and Dream Theater q:

but well i am still 18, and i have still alot to find out.

It's a proven fact that guitar faces have a bigger impact on tone than wood does.
