You found your way bro and welcome to the family! We are going to have a lot of fun here.
First thing I want you to work on is this. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...asing-beginner/ This will help you get better control of your Vibrato, Bends and Rhythem. You will need to slow your playing down some and get in the grove. When you get comfortable then you can just let it rip!! Put your own passion behind it. I would like an upload by next weekend at the latest but if you have questions or problems then please ask. Congratulations and welcome to the group!! Edit: My real name is Jeff. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Your take was very nice once again. There was a small improvement with the vibrato but not quit what I think you are capable of. Just curious, do you use .010 gauge strings?
I am having a hard time with the information you provided in your introduction figuring you out. I can't really get a feel for what it is you feel like you want to work on. So Amol, here is a lesson that I think can really move your playing to the next leave. Lets work on this and please feel free to give me more comments when you have time. Now make that guitar scream bro! https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/in-the...llad-and-blues/ Best of luck with your exam. PS: Have you thought about setting up a Youtube account for your uploaded lessons. You will soon run out of storage space on the GMC server so think about it. If you need help let me know. Really? Both the lessons you picked have been pretty much up my alley hahah! I do need to get my vibrato up to par, and I'm glad you pointed it out! The new lesson looks fun, I'll try and get it down over the next few days if possible. As for the strings, you guessed right, they are 10's Can I manage the files on the GMC server, I could just clear the old ones, but I don't know how :huh:rolleyes: Oh, also I want to be able to record in a DAW and make backing tracks myself if you can help with that too I'd appreciate it!!! I also want to work on chords and chord progressions, because I want to be able to pick up changes off recordings and I have a hard time doing that now. |

Ok Amol, .010 gauge it is bro!
The second take was better with some of the bends. You hit a few of them more on pitch so good job for that. Another good take! Here is what I would like to do next. I want you to work on this lesson. SRV kicks butt so have some fun with this. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...vaughan-lesson/ Also I want you to take a look at this lesson. Really listen to what he is telling you and try to pick up some cool ideas. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...-improvisation/ I would like a upload of the SRV lesson when your finished. The second Improv lesson I don't want an upload of that! I want you to learn from both and give me an upload of something you compose. You may use either lessons backing track. I want you to show me who you are as a player. Great work so far Amol. Looking forward to you uploads. -------------------- "Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph.
