He is the best accoustic player I´ve ever heard, and he´s also better than most players on the electric too, he´s got it all. His playing is just unreal and it seems all so easy to him.

This is my favourite link right now: Tall Fiddler

I wanted to post these links for everyone. Hey Sinisa, is there a chance you could do a "In the Style Of" lesson with these. I think myself and some others would really enjoy it. smile.gif cool.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Being an Aussie, Tommy was an early inspiration for me to pick up guitar. He's a very down-to-earth, humble, funny guy and puts on a great live show. Personally, I love the 1995 album Terra Firma which is all duets with his brother Phil, also an accomplished player. smile.gif A fantastic song off that album is Last Post, where he achieves a haunting trumpet-esque sound by rolling off the volume knob.

Great guitarist. Here is my favourite, a tune called "Borsalino", played with skill and humour ...

I agree smile.gif Just listen.

At the moment I learnt how to play "Amy". I will buy some of his albums and I will learn more in the future, hopefully.
