You could add Onslaught to the Thrash-list.
I have their new cd 'Killing Peace' and I recommand you to check it out. It's really nice!
I'm not familiar with their older work ( only 3 albums, they stopped in 1991 and now they're back)
but I'll check them further out.

You can check the last song of their new album at the website
Onslaught Website

I just got there 89 release In Search Of Sanity the other day. From my perspective, its pretty good but the vocals are a little more NWOBHM sounding since there singer for this one came from Grim Reaper. Not bad, lots of thrashin riffs! I heard Killing Peace is new Exodus worship. Not really sure what to think of that.

In the thrash list you have a band called "suicidan tendencies". Shouldn't it be "suicidal tendencies"?

Cradle of Filth needs to be on here, I can't stress how awesome their new album is, Thornography. Paul Allender is like one of the best riffmakers ever. I genre though is pretty disputed but I would say it is gothic metal.

This band here...http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=170380321

Check them out, they are called Meanstreak. What's awesome about them is they are all girls, and 3 of them are John Petrucci's, Mike Portnoy's and John Myung's wives.

Pretty sick.

Thanks! I'm a metalhead, and this really helps me! smile.gif
But shouldn't Gaate be in Folk Metal? And Amon Amarth in Viking?

But thats how they see themselves.
