Found a brand new version of the 7 string exotic wood dean cooley that I bought recently and it's actually cheaper new than I got it used. It's a great axe. Actually the best sub 500 axe I've ever seen. Here is the link to check it out. I'd buy it if I didn't just buy one smile.gif Plays like a $1,000 plus guitar (which is what it actually is) they have stopped making the exotic wood versions like this one at this price point and gone to just putting on a sticker and some layers of sealant sadly. If you are thinking of a 7, this is simply unbeatable for the price. The frets are smooth and finished and the guitar plays as well as my precious ibby 7620 MIJ which is a tall order.

I saw a brand new one of these on ebay for $465 and one for $560. For that price this guitar is just unbeatable as a 7 string. I'd say a MIJ Ibanez 7620 or 7420 used would be about the same and in the same price range. Either would make a great 7 sting smile.gif
