Phew... smile.gif

As a first step to the large restructuring which we will be doing of our chaotic content: we have now changed the main page layout.

This isn't a very big change but will hopefully make it easier to understand the order of the updates and to find the most recent ones.

In a couple of months the whole content will be re-organised into a much more logic structure. (With the possibility to sort by instructor, style, difficluty level etc).

I am of to sleep now - looking forward to waking up tomorrow and hear about all the bugs and broken links! biggrin.gif

Kris

The only thing I would say is that, at the bottom you have parts of the old page, that have that kind of rounded edge whereas everything from the new stuff is more squarish. I think the rounded edges look better, personally, but I'm not sure if you can do that or not. And for some reason there's no space between the thumbnail and 'Pavel Denisjuk Solo' where there is for the others.

another thing, the lessons are no longer classified like "In Style Of..." or "Technique Lessons", etc. like before.

yea thats true. Also, i thought that the "From The Archive" table was going to be like random, but i think it only displays the Steve Vai solo for now right?

Random is good idea for the future - for now I will pick it manually and change it a couple of times every week.

I got an idea!

In the "from the archive" box, we could have lessons chose by users. All we would need to do is start a "favorite lesson"-thread where you specify the link to your favorite lesson, as well a paragraph about why you liked it. The user who gets his lesson chosen would then have his username on the main page too! smile.gif

Worth a try?
