Great to hear that! I can help you out!
It's very cool that you have already four students and want to get into teaching!!! Let's start with accuracy! I have this exercise! It's really cool and it works! The trick is to play it at a slow tempo and make sure you have a full control over your hands! This exercise works very well and you will start seeing results in a few days! Here is the tab E ||---------------------------|----------------------------------------| Here is the GP file! If you can that would be perfect! I can give you some useful advices and if everything is good give you a new Assignment! Ok here it is. It's not my best effort, got it on 2 nd take but I guess it shows better where I'm at with it rather than try a lot for a perfect take. I don't know how to include a metronome in the take so if you want a take with metronome let me know and I'll record on cam. Sorry. hand_exersise_2.wav ( 24.83MB ) Number of downloads: 169 This post has been edited by llibach: Apr 9 2012, 05:26 PM |

You can make a video quality doesn't really matter as long as I can hear your guitar and metronome! -------------------- |

Perfect! It sounds pretty good a few timing issues but it's not a hard fix if you will keep practicing those exercises it will get perfect in no time!
Now I have a new assignment for you! Here is the backing track that I want you to use when practicing exercises that I give you! http://soundcloud.com/alex-feather-akimov/ii-v-i-jam The chord progression is: Emi7 - A7 - Dmaj7 I will show you how to play over changes using chord tones! So what the chord tone is? If we will analyze a chord progression and look at each chord in details we will see this: E mi7 - E - G - B - D A7 - A - C# - E - G Dmaj7 - D - F# - A - C# Playing chord tones you will accent the chords and will be playing over changes! Here is the exercise! Chord tones exercise Chord_Tones.gp5 ( 2.14K ) Number of downloads: 174 This is a tricky exercise so make sure to practice it slow using a metronome or the backing track! Let me know if you have any questions! -------------------- |
