Well if you're satisfied with general sound of your current Line 6 amp
then I'd go for similar model from Line 6,with more power,just like you said. However you can check out different brands,Vox per example, they have many nice amps for good price. Peavy is fine also. But whatever you buy just be sure to try it first. Hope you have a local music store near by,take your time and try as many as you can. -------------------- Youtube

I agree with Muris, Voxes are better sounding and better modelling amps than Line 6 is. I'm not sure if they have any built in effects, but the amp modelling is better.

I've just checked Vox do have some decent effects to get you started (including autowah - how cool is that)

Indeed, some Marshals do sound kind a terrible
but I hooked G-Force with one of them (solid state it was) and I applied 5khz cut, it sounded awesome imo, try that out or some other eq cut if you don't have G-Force. -------------------- Youtube
