Hello
I am Yash Vardhan Tanwar, 17, from India.
I have just subscribed to guitarmasterclass.net.
I have been playing for around one year (completely self taught, and by using internet tabs). But I don't seem to develop my lead guitar playing. So, I would like one of the instructors to be my guide around the site and help me with my playing as I really look forward to be a better guitar player with the help of your website.
I heard bout the Mentor Training Program , but on one of the forums I saw that it had finished and they weren't accepting any new students.
And it is also very tough to learn by myself by just using thousands of videos and no series or plan.

I hope you guys are gonna help me

Thanks

Hey Yash, welcome to GMC. Developing lead guitar skills can prove to be challenging sometimes but with aid of our fabulous instructors you will be rocking in no time wink.gif .

In regard of your mentoring request; as far as I know MTP is the old mentoring program. Currently; Cosmin, Gabriel and Alex are offering personal guitar mentoring, you can start a program right away by just PM'ing one or more of these instructors ( Yes, you can have multiple personal mentors smile.gif ). In addition to these, Ben Higgins is currently running a "Guitar Bushido" program which is consisting of weekly challenges for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced students. Also I especially suggest you to attend to Todd Simpson's video chat lessons at Saturday night.

That being said, what you should do from now on is record a video which demonstrates your guitar skills, this will serve as a reference to measure your current level of playing. You are not supposed to shred the hell out of it, just play something regardless of its perfection.
