Triplets, picking triplets

Do you typically use economy picking or strict alternate picking for three not per string groups (ascending and decending). I have reciently tried to be far more strict with my alternate picking lately, however that change in direction (up picking every second string) seems unatural. Im not trying to imply that I am 100% accurate either way. I guess I was wondering how you would approach (overcome) this problem. 001101011000110101010100101010101011101011111102 < i forgot to use spell check sorry. Mostly,but not always,depends of lick indeed. You pointed it well,direction might be problem here and there and that's why we have economy as well.
