I need to get tight on these tunes before a gig, but if it's 1 month prior, I don't feel like hitting the tunes/set that often. So, in the weeks prior is when I really tighten it up.
Of course, I play the entire set through several times, to ensure that I'm solid on EVERY change. But, I also put a special focus into certain difficult parts and turn that into it's own practice routine, and shown below. I posted the link correctly, but the vid isn't showing up on my end. 16th notes at 155-160bpm is challenging enough, let alone on a baritone!
