why did you get your LP in chrome hardware instead of gold. everyone i know thinks the gold is stunning.

That being said, I have a Gibson Studio with gold, I believe it is 6 years old. I bought it used. Gold hardware looks good as new.

My Studio might be one of the few that I prefer the look of gold on, it has are real special AAA top, coffee flame, very nice flame. As you can imagine, gold would go with that.

on an ebony, chrome for sure. i always liked the ebony finish. like a piano.
