Chast - Writing A Solo Dynamics |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson here Recorded everything with the webcam through ESP Horizon -> Digitech GNX3000 -> Pc Speakers I hope the sound is better that time, but I just don't like the sound if I record it over line in :/ Cheers This post has been edited by skennington: Mar 29 2009, 04:50 PM -------------------- "They play it extremely fast, it doesn't make any sense, but it's Slayer so it makes a lot of sense" :)

Rhythm placement - 4
Cleanness - 4,5 Feel - 4 Posture - 3 Sound - 4 Some notes are not perfectly in time but most of them were. Be careful when you bend. It should be faster and more precise to hit the exact note you're going for. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Rhythm placement - 4
Cleanness - 4 Feel - 4,5 Posture - 4 Sound - 3,5 Great take, but the bends could use some work. I thought the sound made it a bit difficult to hear the backingtrack. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio

Rhythm placement - 3
Cleanness - 4 Feel - 3,5 Posture - 4 Sound - 4 Major concern here is rhythm only IMO. Everything else is very good. I gave a 4 for sound cause the color is very good, but limited by the gear (which is not something that should be taken into consideration). -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

Rhythm placement - 3
Cleanness - 4,5 Feel - 4 Posture - 4 Sound - 3 Timing was the biggest issue here, yeah, you did dynamic work quite good tho and it can be seen by looking at your picking hand. The only problem with dynamic is the tone, I think you had too much drive or your recording gear didn't work 100% so that's why I gave 3 for the sound in general, work more on timing, feel was nice too, thumbs up. -------------------- Youtube
