The next tuesday im going to start a new band... ill calibrate my guitar before that day and always that i take my guitar to the luthier, i want to add something to her...like pickups...
I have a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and the stock pickup in the neck, i wanted to put a Duncan 59 in the neck until i remembered the EMGs 81 and 85..of ocurse its a bit expensive... but well, i feed my GAS with my credit card....
But, in my home im playing with a pod xt and pc speakers (i dont have an amp) i dont think that the EMG will sound how should sound in these speakers... with the band will be great but in my home?
My guitar is made with solid alder, it isnt mahogany....will work ok these active pickups??
This GAS is going to kill me!!!!
