Hey
i was just wondering is gmc just for method guitar or will it have some songs on here that we can learn like hendrix and led zeppelin. I know freelicks has songs but it would be awsome if we could have a vote of like 3 or 4 songs every week to be put on,

Kris me and my friend have wanted to learn Jimi Hendrix-Bold As Love i rekon it would be an awsome song to put on gmc because it has so much rythm.

thanks

We will not have any songs at gmc in the near future - as this is a technique oriented site.

However I ahve been leaning towards a hendrix -style lesson - I especially would like to go through his way of rhythm guitar! smile.gif --Kris

I'm relatively new to the site - I've been around for five or six lesson updates...

In the Lesson section there are the "101 lessons" and the "in the style of ___ solo lessons"

Do the "solo" lessons appear as the lesson for the week ? Or how do they get there?

An "In the style of" request " : Keith Richards

Yes we have had a pretty long period with 101 lesson, pretty soon we will make a change and get more solo (+and riff!) lessons, I'll inform you more when it approaches.

Yes, that would be good to get a rhythm technique lesson in there. Like SRV and hendrix, john mayer and those. It really adds I think.

I always liked the way Jimi blended chords with soloing, like the little wing intro you did on freelicks

Jams by yourself sound good when you play in that style...
