Ok, got it now.

All pretty good and well controlled but what's happening with that diminished one? Looks like you're playing it on 2 strings only? That's not the shape I showed. However I am happy with this progress.

After you submit the rec I will lock the thread and we will move to January phase of MTP.

Cheers smile.gif

hmm the shape is :

E 12 - 9
A 11
D 9

since I learned 3 string sweeps year ago, I didnt pay much attention to those shapes, thinking, they are common ones... it is possible that you play 12th fret on the D string.. but I am definietly playing 3 string shape there smile.gif

Yes, that's why I thought is was wrong.

This is the correct one

E 12 - 9
A 11
D 12

And is it too wrong? I dont really use much those diminished shapes, so I dont know which note of the scale I changed for which, but I never noticed it sounded different.. I am used on that shape, but I'll relearn if needed..

This is the pattern I use for diminished phrases:

E 12 9
B 11
G 12 9
D 11 8
A 10 7
E

You don't need to resubmit the video but you played one different note smile.gif It sounded ok because that note is also within the diminished 7 arpeggio. I played full dim7 arpeggio which has 4 notes. You played only 3 because the last one is the same as the first one just one octave lower, that's why sounds ok smile.gif

Could you please send me the backing track to your Climax in a solo lesson? I am ready to do the final recording and submitting my entry.
