I get the same issue
 Sensible, I'm wondering if you have accidentaly imported the backing track to your DAW and put a different tempo or if it automatically maybe did so? |

So it plays fine in reaper but maybe not on your windows (try any free player)?

I think that maybe SJ imported the backing in Reaper and it was slowed down. Then he recorded the solo..
