Wanted to say a quick Hello to everyone.

I live in Maine, transplanted from Florida...yeah I know!
Been playing on and off for a few years and decided to get serious about it. So far I have really enjoyed this site and know I will benefit greatly from it. My taste in music is pretty wild, I love GNR but am a little more interested in southern rock. Now, if I could play like Derek Trucks....
Right now I have a GAX 70 with Seymour Duncans playing thru a small Fender amp. I think it will get me thru a lot of the learning stages.

I'm a big Blues/Southern rock fan also. I downloaded Derek Trucks, Live at Georgia Theatre, album from I-tunes a few weeks ago, hes a great musician. You can really here that "Duane Allman" influance in his slide playing
