That's one of the greatest songs ever made and the video was so amusing - now I'm talking in general about Genesis version and their video, not your video wink.gif

I think you did a great version. At first I didn't hear the bass but with headphones it's there. Good sound and everything.

So to the constructive part:
Vocals are cool but I think a little bit cleaner would be better for this, not all clean but starting out clean and putting on the whiskey/smoke voice when it takes off, that'd be something.
There is anotherthing, I don't know how to describe it right. There are parts where both guitar, bass and vocals work against eachother.
Like at 1:51 it sounds ill to my ears.
Also at around 0:47-0:48 (throughout the entire song but that's an example) i'm expecting the chords to be stressed elsewhise, at 1-2-3-4 rather but when they are stressed at 1.5 or 1.25 or whatever it makes the listening experience aqward to me. ..and I'm the customer so I'm always right.

Hear hear, I though it sounded good over all, and keep the vocals just cleaner in the beginning if you want to please me, it just takes up more lines for the constructiveness wink.gif

And I was so happy to hear this song, it's been a while, I rather listen to your version that the one from Disturbed, but Genesis you'll never beat mwahahaha laugh.gif

thanks guy's
im not a fan of the vocals there... and there are times when the guitars/bass are messed up, but were not making a big fuss, its just a bit fun tongue.gif
i was just working on cleaner vocals there but i ran outa time, ive got work to do... maybe another day tongue.gif

i love the disturbed and genesis version of this song... whatever you do, dont listen to the "in flames" version.
its like taking a brilliant song and putting it in a blender.

I didnt get to hear the first version, but as far as the vocals go.. this is GREAT!
Wanna sing on one of my songs? smile.gif

The bass and guitar do crash a bit though, and one of the strings on the bass seems to be a bit out of tune, but all in all.. good stuff
