bit late reaction but i would be very interested as well

i never really got the thing with funk, about how to play it good,
riffs and chords are scratching i guess but still wonder how to get a good sound
like funky monks by RHCP

there is a lot about schredding, which is great
but i''d also like the complete different, i liked the country, but its not totally covered yet
my request nest to the funk, a JJ cale bluescountry lesson!

Yeah, maybe a lesson in the style of John Frusciante? Nice blend of Hendrix and funk right there, probably my favorite guitarist too.
