Now Ive watched alot of Paul Gilbert videos. Probably almost all of them on Youtube. Now it wasnt till I was at my recent guitar lesson and I brought my "Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar" Dvd, that I picked up on something he does, and probably alot of guitarists.
When he holds the pick on the side of his index and curves his index underneath his thumb he gets that nice angle when picking. I never really tryed that because I have also attacked the string
the opposite way. Can some people give me some insight on attack the way Paul does it, I can get it to sound nice and fast sometimes but my hand is used to the other angle, but Im always open to expanding my Horizions
