A few months ago I put in a set of active pickups. I decided to put in lithium ones because I like how they shut down when they run out of juice. At first they seemed fine but sometimes they were not clear and I assumed it was something else in my chain. Last week I really started working on my tone and found such a hard time. Some days is set up and think wow this sounds great then the next day without changing anything "even leaving every program on" it would sound terrible.

Anyway I found the culprit and put in an old 9v that still shocked my tongue and the guitar sounds crystal clear. Kinda how it was supposed to sound. So I'd say today is the first day with the new pickups! I'm going to have to adjust the pickup height.

With the old battery my bridge pickup had to be so close to the 1st string and the bridge was bottomed out. I wonder how it's going to sound now?!!!!!
